Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Jalsa was a delightful experience overall. The room was huge and had a tasty cake waiting on the table, which was a nice touch. It had everything I needed - a balcony with a view of the pool, a warm and clean bed. However, the location next to a back water inlet was a bit unpleasant at times and the bathroom area could use more light. The service was exceptional, especially from Sushant and Terrance who ensured everything was top-notch. The dining options were average, but the spread could have been improved.
The hotel is perfectly located near the flea market, Saturday night market, and the beach, offering a great poolside bar but lacks shower curtains in certain rooms. The rooms were spotless, and the balcony was a lovely surprise. The staff, especially at the cafe, Rio, were very friendly and accommodating for early and late checkouts. The location is just opposite a beautiful lake, and the proximity to Baga Beach and other attractions in North Goa is a big plus. Dining at 10.15am was delightful, complete with musical entertainment. However, the hotel needs to address the issue of missing shower curtains in some rooms and the high cost of cabs in Goa should be considered when planning. The hotel offers a relaxing ambiance, making it a great place to unwind by the pool and enjoy the surroundings.
The hotel offers excellent and huge rooms with everything one could need, including a balcony, a view of the pool, and a cozy bed. The food was top-notch, and the hospitality was exceptionally lovely and humble.
